These terms of service, including any revised agreements that we may post from time to time, state the terms and conditions under which Ask A Local website and mobile application provide you with various services (hereinafter the "Website” and, respectively, the “App”, and, collectively, the “Platforms”). The Platforms are offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of any of the terms, conditions, and notices set forth below (collectively, the “Agreement”). By accessing or using the Platforms in any manner, you agree to be bound by the Agreement. Please read the Agreement carefully. If you do not accept all of these terms and conditions, you are not authorised to use this site. Be sure to return to this page periodically to review the most current version of the Agreement. We reserve the right at any time, at our sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify the Agreement in accordance with the Terms and Conditions herein and your continued access or use of this Website signifies your acceptance of the updated or modified Agreement.

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. Parties
"You" and "your" refer to you, as a user of the Platforms. A "user" is someone who accesses, browses, crawls, scrapes, or in any way uses the Site. "We", "Us", and "Our" refer to Ask A Local Ltd, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales.

1.2.Content
"Content" means text, images, photos, audio, video, location data, and all other forms of data or communication. "Your Content" means Content that you submit or transmit to, through, or in connection with the Platforms, such as ratings, reviews, compliments, invitations, check-ins, messages, and information that you publicly display or displayed in your account profile. "User Content" means Content that users submit or transmit to, through, or in connection with the Platforms. "Ask A Local Content" means Content that we create and make available in connection with the Site. "Third Party Content" means Content that originates from parties other than Ask A Local or its users, which is made available in connection with the Platforms. "Platforms Content" means all of the Content that is made available in connection with the Site, including Your Content, User Content, Third Party Content, and Ask A Local Content.

2. USE OF THE PLATFORMS
2.1. The Platforms will allow you to transmit a question to Us. Locals, who are not paid to promote specific businesses, will answer the questions. 2.2. Questions can only be asked after downloading the App from the respected store. Once the App was downloaded, the device on which it is installed is entitled for 1 (one) free question. Questions are given per device, and not per user, and are non-transferable.
2.3. The Services provided by Ask A Local are based on personal opinion of Ask A Local and its affiliates. As such, all Services are prone to interpretations and are skewed and biased, according to ones beliefs. Ask A Local will not be liable to discontent that shall result from any service given.
2.4. Services that shall be purchased in the App have no expiration date, and will be available to You for as long as Ask A Local exists. However, purchased services are not refundable, except for extreme and rare cases, and the Ask A Local’s own discretion.
2.5. At Ask A Local’s own discretion, and in some rare cases, a service given by Us or by Our affiliates, may be credited for its cost. The cost will be the maximum paid cost by you, or the relevant part of the cost pay by you, the smaller of the two.
2.6. As a condition of your use of the Platforms, you warrant that (i) all information supplied by you on the Platforms is true, accurate, current and complete, (ii) you will safeguard your account information and will supervise and be completely responsible for any use of your account by anyone other than you and (iii) you are 18 years of age or older in order to register for an account and contribute to our website. (iv) possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use the Platforms in accordance with all terms and conditions herein.
2.7. Ask A Local does not knowingly collect the information of anyone under the age of 13. We retain the right at our sole discretion to deny access to anyone to the Platforms and the services we offer, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, for violation of this Agreement. 2.8. We hold the right not to provide some or any service to you, if this is does not comply with our policies. This may include any illegal, immoral or unethical queries.

3. OWNERSHIP OF THE PLATFORMS AND THE PLATFORMS CONTENT
3.1. All Platforms Content is owned by Us, and We save all rights to use it in any matter at Our own discretion, as long as it complies with this Agreement
3.2. Copying, transmission, reproduction, republication, posting or redistribution of the Platforms Content or any portion thereof is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of Ask A Local.

4. PRIVACY POLICY
4.1. All Platforms Content and use of the Platforms is subject of Our privacy policy. We take great efforts in protecting your privacy, and all Platform Content will be used in accordance with Our privacy policy, which can be found here (link).
4.2. While We will not share your information with any third party, We do save the right to send you emails from time to time.

5. ADVERTISING
5.1. Ask A Local and its licensees or affiliates may publicly display advertisements and other information adjacent to or in relation with any of the Platforms Content and specifically with Your Content. You are not entitled to any compensation for such advertisements. The manner, mode and extent of such advertising are subject to change without specific notice to you.
5.2. The Platforms may contain hyperlinks to websites and services operated by third parties. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their contents or the privacy or other practices of such websites. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites or services does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

6. COSTS AND EXPENSES
6.1. Using any of the Platforms Content may incur costs to you. You will cover all costs in relation with using the Platforms, and We will not reimburse you with any cost as such.
6.2. Any expense made by You as a result of using the App will be at your own discretion.

7. DISCLAIMER
7.1. The Platforms are made available to you on a “as is” basis. This means that some errors, mistakes, false information, inaccuracies etc. may be made by Us. Accordingly, We are not liable to any loss or damage that may arise as a result of using the Platforms.
7.2. All Platform Content is based on personal knowledge of Ask A Local and its affiliates, and thus We cannot be liable to any services provided by third parties, including, but not exclusively, opening hours, costs, locations, services etc.

8. INDEMNIFICATION
8.1. You agree to defend and indemnify Ask A Local and its affiliates and any of their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of:
8.1.1. your breach of this Agreement or the documents referenced herein;
8.1.2. your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or
8.1.3. your use of this Website.
9. COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK NOTICES
9.1. All rights are reserved to Ask A Local. We are not responsible for content on websites operated by parties other than Us. Ask A Local, its logo and all other product or service names or slogans displayed on The Platforms are registered and/or common law trademarks of Ask A Local and/or its suppliers or licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Ask A Local or the applicable trademark holder. In addition, the look and feel of the Site, including all page headers, custom graphics, button icons and scripts, is the service mark, trademark and/or trade dress of Ask A Local and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Ask A Local.
