Back to the Future, The Musical

Back To The Future had some of the best stage special effects I’ve seen. The visual effects exceeded my expectations! Add to that the talented cast and you have a show to remember!

Back To The Future – The Musical London

The musical is based on the American science fiction films we all know and love and is directed by Tony Award winning, John Rando.

‘Back to the Future  – The Musical’, was adopted to stage by the original creators of Back to the Future, Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis.

The production was first performed in Manchester in early 2020 for a limited run and received great reviews from both the audience and critics, winning the Olivier award for Best New Musical in 2022.

If you remember the dad’s character from the movie, you will greatly appreciate the work and accuracy of the actor Oliver Nicholas as George Mcfly in the musical. Also the great comic skills of Amber Davies as Lorraine Baines. In general, you will enjoy an extremely talented cast like Roger Bart (‘The Producers’) and Ben Joyce (‘Jersey Boys’).

Here is an interesting video made during the quarantine period, in which the cast and orchestra perform a song from the musical from their homes:
